Pulsar's Chinese Counterparts... LOL! [Selfwritten]
These little neighbors of ours have gone too far in the mischievous acts of imitating. What's humorously shocking to me is that do these devil minds really understand the meaning of copyright or not! Or the word has its own chineese counterpart LOL. China has been a major copy production house for a variety of electronics items. Supplying electronic items at lowest prices & third class quality is the motto of china!
See these pictures of the immitated bikes of humara bajaj Pulsar, what's copied to Gulsar in Chine! (would there be zero honda or Gapache in future too?!)
Cloning an original product is a skill which the Taian Chiran Machinery Company Limited has mastered. They have cleverly imitated and marketed a copy of Bajaj Auto’s top selling motorcycle, the Pulsar under a rhyming brand called ‘Gulsar’
"The petrol tank may be just like the Pulsar, but it’s a fake and lacks quality parameters. Instead of our patented DTSi engine, it is a single spark engine," a Bajaj official said.
Ranatunga Motors of Sri Lanka sold 26 Ranamoto Gulsar bikes after their tie-up with the Chinese Company. Nearly 20 percent of Bajaj bikes sales from the overseas market have been targeted by Chinese fakes - largely in the Latin American regions of Mexico and Argentina as well as Peru and Iran in the Middle East. The low prices add to the advantage of the Chinese makers.
Another Pulsar look-alike, ‘SUM200 Pulsar’ is manufactured by Chongqing Union Company Limited. It’s not only Bajaj that has been targeted by the skilled Chinese men. Zhejiang Huatian, China’s largest scooter manufacturer was fined $1.1 million for selling scooters under the Yamaha brand name.
